Goooooooood morning??!?

As I begin to write this, it's 4:28am.  I've been awake for nearly two hours.  A bursting bladder called me to rise just after 2:30 this morning, and I haven't been able to fall back asleep since. I often get up during the night for a visit to the 'loo. (I know, too much information; but it's the early dawn and I think my sensitivity to social graces is slightly dulled).  But usually I have no trouble falling back asleep.  Usually.  This obviously is one of those not-so-usual nights.  I lied (lay? layed? laid? what IS the right spelling for this word in this context?!?!) in bed until now, trying to lull myself back to sleep with deep breathing, adjusting my pillows, changing sides of the bed and otherwise tossing and turning, but to no avail.  I don't feel like reading (also unusual) so here I am.  Writing my blog entry about five hours earlier than usual.  Maybe it's just going to be an unusual day. Maybe it's the three cups of milk I drank before bed.  I rarely drink milk anymore - maybe once every quarter I get the craving for a glass of cow juice.  Incidentally, I never ever ever call it that: cow juice.  But as I was typing this the term popped into my mind.  It's what my dad used to call it.  Anywhoooooo....I digress. So I indulged my cow juice craving and had three small glasses around 8:30 last night, which was a couple hours before bed, but it's coming to mind as something out-of-the-ordinary I did that might be the source of my sleeplessness.  Then again, I don't have any kind of stomach ache or anything from it; so maybe it's coincidence.  Maybe next time I'll switch to water after the milk craving is whetted with one wee cup. I am babbling. Deal with it.  It's now 4:38am and I'm still not tired.  Off to find something to either induce sleep or be productive with.  What time does the sun actually rise in the middle of winter?  Maybe I'll catch the show.
